Boing, splat, pink.
I spent two weeks trying to do that final giant weed before one puts the garden to bed for the winter. I tore up weeds by the bushelfull, cut down trees, made piles of brush, jumped up and down on my piles of brush to smash them flat-- and then got a sudden stomach virus that laid me flat out for four days. It was the contrast that was really amazing, going from {boing, boing, boing, whack, whack, whack, rrrrrraaaaaarrrrr! hack, hack, hack, BOING! wheee!} to {splat! BLARG! thud!}. I'm sorta better, as in I now actually have the energy to wash AND condition my hair, but standing up for a long time strikes me as 'hard' and I ate only a bite of my dinner. Poke, poke, poke. Be nice when this is over. I'd forgotten how truly glorious my usual boinginess is from the inside, it is that that rare that a virus ever gets me.

And how we can actually be interested in choosing between 3 different shades of beige.
